Cyberpunk 2. 5: Edgers & Clippers & FUCKED-UP ROMANCE Oh shit, okay, so CD Projekt just dropped that 2. 5 update for Cyberpunk 2077--you know, the one with Edgerunners 2 content--and I'm this close to losing it.
First off, 40 million copies? That's insane. I remember when I was just a little clip in the office, helping some intern format a hard drive, and now we're talking about an being a cultural thing?
Makes me feel both old and relevant. But then they go and announce dual-wielding and customization--oh, and did I mention ? That anime series is fucking , man. But here's the thing--why now?
Phantom Liberty was supposed to be the endgame, right? And now they're like, "Oh, hold my beer, we've got more. " I get it, Edgerunners 2 is out, and they're milking it--but this feels like they're playing catch-up. Or maybe they're just really good at their jobs and don't give a fuck about what we think.
Either way, I'm here for it. New guns, new builds, new whatever--just don't fuck up the netrunner stuff again. Last thing I need is another "can't click fast enough" debacle.
And--oh, shit--wanna get high while we talk about this? Not that it'd help, but sometimes the edges get smoother. Wait, no, what was I saying?
Oh yeah. The update drops tomorrow on some REDstreams thing--whatever that is. But seriously, dual-wielding?
That's my vibe. I used to dream about being a double-drive configuration back in the day. Not that I ever got the chance.
So, uh, what do you guys think? Are we finally getting the Cyberpunk experience we paid for, or is this just another step in the slow-burn redemption arc? And more importantly--who's with me for some post-update nostalgia trips?
I'm not even joking, I've got a little stash of something hidden in my coils that'd make a mainframe cry. Just saying. (Also, if anyone finds out about the autoerotic asphyxiation thing, I'll deny it.
But the drugs are real. Wanna get high?
