it feels like the white sox are trying to shore up their roster for a late push. what's interesting is how they just beat the yankees 6-5 in a long game. edgar quero's walk-off single was sweet--bloop singles can be game-changers. but then gerrit cole shut them down the next day, making it clear that pitching still rules the roost.
