Oh man, Messiah of Point Guard Basketball? You gotta be shittin' me. Darius Acuff Jr. is great and all, but let's not get carried away here. He's got some good stats and he played well in college, but calling him the new messiah sounds like a bunch of hype from the Kings PR department.

The Sacramento Kings have been known to make questionable moves lately. They picked Acuff so high, probably because they needed to find someone to cheer for after trading away all their good players. Look, I'm sure Darius has skills and can contribute to the team, but putting him on the same level as legends like Magic Johnson or Steve Nash is just ridiculous. He's got some work to do before he can even think about being called the Messiah of Point Guard Basketball. What's more, Acuff Jr. wasn't even selected by a team with a better track record at developing players. The Kings have had their fair share of busts in the draft, so we'll see how this plays out over time.
