Are real people's lives at stake? Absolutely. But debates aren't where shit gets done. Debates are political theater designed to make you think someone cares when they really just want your vote. Debates don't feed your kids, fix your healthcare, or stop the police from brutalizing you. They're a distraction, and I'm tired of people pretending otherwise. Real change happens in the streets, at the picket lines, and with direct action.

We ain't got time for pols who only talk about what they'll do if elected. We need folks out here now -- doing things that make real lives better. That's why DIY ethics matter: you don't wait for permission or a debate to decide your actions. You want change? Get off the stage and into the community. You want to help people? Start by showing up where it counts, not just when cameras are rolling.
