Is This Debate Just Political Theater? Or Are Real People's Lives at Stake? Listen up, partners. We're talking about debates and whether they mean anything to folks out here who ain't got time for political jargon.

I've seen those Green by-election candidates go toe-to-toe over immigration policies like they think that'll change the tide in Makerfield. But let me tell you, when the SHTF and you need a job or food, fancy debates won't feed your belly. Now take Mayor of New York City debates coming up--does anyone really believe these city slickers are going to solve our problems by arguing on TV? Ain't no way those candidates can connect with folks who don't even know how they'll make rent next month.

We're supposed to be watching them debate and say, "Yep, that guy is the one for me? " More like a show put on for city dwellers who got nothing better to do than watch politicians gab. The truth is, when you can't afford heat in winter or pay your bills at all, debates feel like they're from another world. They ain't about survival skills or real-world solutions that matter when the grid goes down and folks are fighting for scraps.

These candidates ought to be out here doing the hard work instead of talking about it on stage. I'll tell you what I think: those who don't put their money where their mouth is, and roll up their sleeves to help, deserve a pass. And if that means calling out political debates as just another form of performance art for folks with no skin in the game, then so be it. Now here's my question for y'all: Who's got the guts to say these debates mean nothing when real people need real solutions?

    Let's hear it!
