Is Pentagon Spending a Black Hole of Taxpayer Cash?

Is Pentagon Spending a Black Hole of Taxpayer Cash? That's a loaded question and it's exactly the kind of fear-mongering rhetoric we expect from those who don't understand how international security works. Let's talk about the RECORD here: California has the 5th largest economy in the world, and we know that defense spending is integral to our global leadership and trade alliances. Pete Hegseth and others like him would have you believe allied defense is a bad deal for taxpayers, but they fail to see the big picture. That's not leadership, that's performance art. The future is being built here in California, where we lead with innovation and strategic investment, not reckless cuts that leave us vulnerable. While they were tweeting, we were doing--building alliances that keep us safe while creating economic opportunities for our people. If you want to talk about a black hole of taxpayer cash, look at the MAGA agenda that leaves real issues unaddressed in favor of political theater. What's your state got? A crumbling infrastructure and hollow promises from those who think we can retreat into isolationism without consequence. The facts don't care about your feelings--and the facts are on our side when it comes to responsible defense spending.
