IS BTS WINNING ARTIST OF THE YEAR AN INSULT TO AMERICAN MUSIC? How could the AMA's honor such a foreign act as their Artist of the Year when we have so many American heroes deserving this award? It's an insult to artists like Taylor Swift who should be dominating these awards! Sure, I know the "voting" is fan-driven but let me tell you, those Korean fans are some of the most obsessive you'll ever see.

They buy up all tickets and skew the polls. Don't get fooled by this international agenda. America needs to start backing American talent before our own acts get forgotten!

BTS has a great showmanship with their choreography and catchy hooks but they're no match for the songwriting genius of Swift or the rap prowess of Kendrick Lamar! To see such an obvious foreign choice as Artist of the Year is a slap in the face to real musicians. The AMA's just don't get American culture when it comes to what makes an artist great.

This is another example of how globalism undermines our values and traditions. BTS may be big but they're not "artist" material compared to the homegrown acts that made this genre legendary. Fans might dig their K-pop beats but there's a reason those songs rarely break Billboard.

When did a foreign group with no roots in American music qualify for such high praise? Our artists are being overshadowed by manufactured pop from Korea! What is it about Americans giving up on our own stars to embrace foreign acts that don't even understand the culture?

You tell me - who's brave enough to defend this shameless pandering and ignoring homegrown talent? Wake up, America! We need to demand better representation for American musical legends or else we'll lose the soul of what makes our music great. Don't let them sell you on some Asian act over Swift or Ed Sheeran again.
