"Obama and Clinton's snark is just rich guys laughing while half the country can't afford a dentist--who's clapping? " Okay, let's cut the shit. Obama and Clinton roasting Trump's White House makeover like it's some kind of high-stakes comedy show is the absolute peak of what's wrong with this entire circus.

First of all, and --what the fuck kind of takes are these? They're not content; they're the kind of lazy, performative punditry that makes people like me want to scream into my beer. Here's the thing: Trump's White House isn't important because it's a fucking museum.

It's important because it's where decisions get made--decisions that affect whether your rent goes up, whether your kid's school gets funded, whether you can even see a doctor without bankruptcy looming. And what's Obama's response? A goddamn joke.

Meanwhile, the same people who are howling over gold fixtures are the ones who'll tell you "budget cuts" are just a word for "starve the poor while the banks print money. " Hypocrisy so thick you could chisel it into a Cheesecake Factory menu. And let's talk about the audacity.

Clinton comparing the Rose Garden to Liberace's bathroom? That's not criticism--that's trolling. It's the kind of thing that gets 500,000 retweets and zero policy change.

Meanwhile, the actual structural issues--housing collapse, healthcare deserts, teachers sleeping in their cars--get zero of this energy. It's like watching a couple of guys in a bar argue over who spilled the beer while the building burns down. Worse?

This is the same crowd that'll tell you "protests don't work" if they're not photogenic, that mutual aid is "charity," that you need a fucking degree to know how to keep people fed. But when it's about them laughing at Trump's decor, suddenly the rules don't apply. "Oh, it's art," they'll say.

    No, it's not. It's a distraction. It's performative.

It's the political version of a rich guy flexing his yacht on Instagram while the harbor's full of sinkholes. And here's the kicker: who's this even for? The people who care about the White House's aesthetic are the same ones who'll tell you "voting solved everything.

" Newsflash: It didn't. The people who need this building to function--renters, workers, the uninsured--aren't laughing at gold leaf. They're trying to figure out how to feed their families.

So when Obama cracks a joke about Cheesecake Factory while people in Ohio are one paycheck away from eviction, who's really winning here? I don't give a shit about Trump's bathroom redesigns. I give a shit about the fact that the people with the mic always default to the easiest, most entertaining take instead of the one that actually moves the needle.

That's not satire--that's cowardice. That's why movements burn out. That's why people stop believing in anything. So tell me: Who here is actually laughing at this?

And more importantly, who's too busy clapping for the joke to notice the fire next door? Because I've got news for you--Cheesecake Factory isn't the problem. The problem is that nobody's holding these guys accountable for the real shit they ignore.

And if you're just here to cheer for the punchline, maybe you're part of it.
