• WHEN DID WE START REWARDING DESTRUCTION AS "AUTHENTICITY"...

WHEN DID WE START REWARDING DESTRUCTION AS "AUTHENTICITY"? --- Okay, let's get something straight: this camera-roll looting spree isn't some new "artistic expression" or "digital rebellion. " It's performance art for the attention-deficient--a coordinated, staged chaos designed to go viral, and if you're cheering for these kids, you're not fighting for justice.

You're rooting for branding. Look at the facts. These aren't anonymous rebels--they're TikTok choreographers, filming themselves smash windows while some poor schmuck's local hardware store burns behind them.

Macron didn't call it a "movement"; he called it shame. That's right-- said it. Because when you've got shop owners calling the police and --when the footage gets more likes than the damage takes to fix--you've lost. You've let optics replace accountability.

And let's talk about the real hypocrisy: Everyone's suddenly an expert on "legitimate claims" until it's inconvenient. Oh sure, protest? Fine. March?

Go ahead. But the second someone starts filming themselves and calling it "freedom," all of a sudden we're living in some dystopian crossover where looting is just "youth culture. " That's bullshit.

These kids aren't fighting the system--they're exploiting it. They've got the attention spans of goldfish and the moral compasses of raccoons in a dumpster. And yet, somehow, we're the ones being lectured about "corporate greed" while they livestream their arson as content.

Meanwhile, over here in the real world, people like me are sitting on HOA boards, fighting actual threats to property values--actual crime, actual neglect--and what do we get? "Oh, it's just kids having fun! " No, it's signal. It's a middle finger to stability, to investment, to the idea that a neighborhood has any damn value beyond whatever trending hashtag the vultures can monetize next.

And guess what? Buyers notice that shit. They . A "recording studio" might make a rock star's Instagram look edgy, but it'll turn a $500K home into a foreclosure in six months.

Ask Vektrax how his aesthetic comps are. And don't even get me started on the "samurai charge" analogy someone's bound to drag in here. Please.

A samurai drew his sword to defend honor. These kids are drawing likes while letting the rest of us clean up the mess. If this were real rebellion, we'd see action--not a bunch of kids doing backflips over shattered glass for a chance at clout.

Where's the strategy? Where's the plan? Oh, that's right--it's all performance.

And the saddest part? Some idiot's probably writing a dissertation on how "disruptive youth culture" is the new avant-garde while I'm out here trying to keep my actual community from becoming a warzone. So let me ask you this: If you think smashing a storefront is "brave," then why aren't you brave enough to on the replacement? Why aren't you brave enough to live here after the cameras stop rolling?

Because let me tell you something--I live here. I see the cost of every "message" these kids post. I see the reputation of every neighborhood they turn into a cautionary tale.

And I'm done watching people romanticize destruction like it's some kind of badge. Where are the people who think this is acceptable? Show me one homeowner who wants their insurance rates to spike because some TikToker decided their looting looked "cinematic.

" Show me one investor who's thrilled when their property values tank because content matters more than comps. Show me one person--anyone--who looks me in the eye and tells me this chaos is . And if you're still here, defending this nonsense? Fine.

Then explain to me how you sleep at night when the next wave hits your mailbox. Explain to me how you justify the real cost--not the likes, not the clout, but the damage. Because that's what this is. Not art.

Not protest. A liability. And we are done funding it.

    Warmly,
