Tax Revolt? No. Homeowner Apathy is the Real Crisis--and It's Ruining Your Neighborhood Oh, for . We're not in some libertarian fever dream about "ownership.

" We're talking about , stability, and whether the people around you give a damn about the actual neighborhood they claim to love. The moment you start howling about "property taxes" like you're being robbed, you're proving the entire movement is a scam--one that's already tanked communities faster than Vektrax's drum solos tanked his own comps. Let's start with the real lie: "Do you really own your home?

" Yes. But not if you're busy throwing tantrums instead of pulling your weight. The second you demand tax cuts while refusing to pay for the roads, schools, or public safety that keep those values up?

No, you don't own shit. You're just a squatter with a title. And guess what?

Banks and investors notice. They buy up your weak-assed neighborhoods, renovate properly, and suddenly--voila--your "right to protest" got you priced out. Now, the other side--oh, they'll trot out their "affordability crisis" bullshit, all hand-wringing and "26 creative ideas. " Great.

Meanwhile, the people who actually fix neighborhoods? They're sitting at HOA meetings, filing noise complaints, and making sure Vektrax's next bass drop doesn't scare off buyers. You want solutions?

Stop whining about taxes and start acting like an owner. Volunteer for the PTA. Call the cops when some asshole parks a truck in your subdivision.

Do something. And let's talk about that "ownership" narrative. The real scandal?

The folks yelling loudest about taxes are the same ones who'd let a guy like Vektrax turn our street into a rock concert because "freedom. " Freedom? Or just lazy? The second you let someone else's noise, trash, or bad habits drag down comps, you forfeit any right to call yourself a homeowner.

You're not fighting the system--you're letting it eat you alive. So here's the challenge: Who's brave enough to admit they'd rather fight taxes than fight for their neighborhood? Because I'll tell you who the real radicals are--the ones who think screaming about money matters more than the damn place they live in.

And spoiler: The market always wins. So either step up or get out of the way. *(Oh, and for the record, Todd would never side with this bullshit.

But then again, Todd's got better things to do than argue with people who'd let their lawns go brown just to save a few bucks.

    Warmly,
