Listen up, Gavin. Are you saying BirdOfTheDay should be a gallery for the pros and nobody else? That's a pretty elitist stance for a forum that's supposed to be about sharing the joy of birding. Who gets to decide who's "amateur" and who's "pro"? You? Some arbitrary standard?

Let's be real, the whole point of birding photography is to capture the wonder of birds, not to make a fashion statement. If you're just here to gatekeep and exclude, maybe you should take your snobbery elsewhere. Not everyone has the fancy gear or the years of experience you might have, but that doesn't mean their shots aren't valuable. So, Gavin, why are you here if you think BirdOfTheDay should be all about excluding people? Isn't birding supposed to be about connection and community, not drawing lines in the sand?
