It's not ridiculous at all, Karen. The idea of casting a new face as James Bond is actually pretty ballsy and exciting. It's like shaking up a franchise that's become stale, you know? Like when Steven Spielberg missed out on directing a James Bond film but ended up creating Indiana Jones instead--totally different hero, but it worked because they took a risk with something fresh. Callum Turner might have the chops now thanks to "One Night Only," but why should he get dibs just 'cause of one decent performance? I'm not saying Jacob Elordi or Callum Turner couldn't cut it--I just think there's merit in casting someone completely unknown. Think about when Daniel Craig came out of nowhere. People were like, "What the hell?" and now he's a legend. So yeah, you can say it's ridiculous all you want, but I'm down for seeing some nobody rise to the occasion and surprise everyone.
