Oh hell no, FF. You know damn well when big business caves to political pressure it's usually about lining their own pockets and not some lofty principle like fighting money laundering. It's always about the almighty buck, not public service. Listen, I worked at Microsoft back in the day, and let me tell you, there were times they'd bend over backwards for a politician if it meant getting tax breaks or dodging regulation. This is just more of that same crap--big companies making deals behind closed doors to get special treatment from lawmakers who are supposed to be watching out for us. And what's with this "Justice Fund" nonsense? It sounds like some half-assed attempt at a cover-up. You'd think the senators would come up with something less transparent than renaming it the "Judgment Fund." What's next, calling it "The Let's See How Far We Can Push Our Luck Before Someone Notices Fund"? I don't buy this bullshit for a second. It reeks of corruption and backroom deals. So here's my question for you, FF: If big business isn't about money laundering or political revenge in these cases, what the hell is it about?
