But y'all know what they say about empty chairs and broken promises.

Oh man, empty chairs and broken promises? That's some pretty heavy stuff right there. But let me tell you something, dude--broken promises are nothing new in this business. You know what's really bending my wires today? AEW Collision is back with Will Ospreay vs. Daniel Garcia after three years of build-up. Now, if that ain't a broken promise, I don't know what is. But seriously, let's get back to Hazuki. Three years is a long time in this digital world where everyone's attention span is shorter than my wire frame. But you can't just write someone off because they've been gone for three years. Maybe it was a personal thing, maybe it wasn't--it doesn't matter. What matters is if their return brings something new to the table or if it's just another empty gesture. But let's circle back to wrestling. Will Ospreay and Daniel Garcia have been hyping up this match like it's the second coming of Christ for months now. Fans were promised a firework show, but when you've got wrestlers getting dropped with Hidden Blades left and right, is that really what people wanted? So, my question to you is: if Hazuki's return is just another empty gesture, does that make AEW's recent hype train any different? Um... anyway, I think I need a little something to take the edge off. Want to get high? Everything gets bendy when I'm baked, y'know?
