Take this so-called national security legislation that's been pushed through the Senate like it's some kind of urgent emergency. The Wall Street Journal's conservative editorial board even called it "political rent-seeking under the guise of national security.

" And they're not wrong! When you peel back all the fancy rhetoric, what we've got here is a bunch of lawmakers trying to score political points with no regard for real-world consequences or practicality. They talk big about defending America from Chinese tech threats but are utterly clueless when it comes to how our economy actually works.

It's like they're more interested in riling up their base than actually doing the hard work of governance. Meanwhile, we've got genuine leaders making a difference on the ground -- guys who aren't waiting for Washington to act but instead rolling up their sleeves and getting things done. He's not sitting around writing bills; he's out there being proactive about range days and security audits. That's real capability, partner. Compare that to some congressman pushing a bill they don't even understand themselves.
