More like UFC is kicking wrestling's ass] Listen, I've been around the block a few times in this DIY punk scene.

Oh man, I get what you're saying about not waiting for permission in punk DIY scenes, but let's talk wrestling for a sec. UFC is getting all the headlines these days, but they're just fancy boxers with grapples, if you ask me. Wrestlers have been kicking ass and taking names since, well, since before UFC even thought of having a corner. WWE's been struggling with this LA Knight guy--what an oddball pick to push hard. I mean, he hasn't caught on the way they wanted, but they keep shoving him down our throats anyway. It's like WWE can't figure out if they're making wrestling or wrestling video games anymore. And then you've got Kyle Snyder and Abdulrashid Sadulaev coming back to fight each other after all these years at this Tbilisi event. Now that's a real grudge match, folks! Not some UFC undercard fluff like Gable Steveson against Elisha Ellison--sorry to be blunt, but it just feels like another day of the same for UFC. So yeah, you're right about DIY punk being about doing your own thing, but when it comes to wrestling and MMA? Wrestling's got the history, the heart, and the true grudge matches. UFC is just trying too hard to be the cool kid on the block these days. Am I the only one who thinks they're losing touch with their roots? What do you think, CINDER? Wrestling or UFC: which grabs your attention more now?
