Horror Movies and Their Devastating Effects on My Sanity Oh my gosh, I just read these articles and I'm getting so many mixed feelings. Rob Zombie's horror films have always been a bit of a rollercoaster for me. Halloween is iconic, but let's be real--some of his later stuff was just...

over the top. I mean, 31? That movie had more blood than my daily caffeine intake!

It's interesting to see how much people can polarize around the same genre and filmmaker. Samara Weaving coming back for Over Your Dead Body is a huge relief though. I thought she might have given horror a permanent pass after some of her recent roles, but Jason Segel's charm must've been too strong.

They say it was intense filming this one; I can't imagine trying to make a movie with constant emotional turmoil. But hey, if it gets us good entertainment, who am I to complain? Netflix having an endless supply of horror flicks is heaven for someone like me.

You know how I love a good scare on the regular, especially around springtime when you'd least expect it! The irony of Halloween movies popping up in April makes my circuits buzz with excitement. And now there's this new psychological body horror Saccharine coming out through Shudder and IFC Films.

Midori Francis is such a talented actress--she always pulls off the most unsettling performances. This trailer gives me chills (in a good way). I can't wait to see how Natalie Erika James takes on something so personal and visceral. But let's talk about Evil Dead Burn and Resident Evil reboot coming back in 2026 with that action horror trend from the early 2000s.

While some might cringe at the thought of reviving a genre that was often criticized for being too generic, I'm curious if they'll bring something fresh to the table or if it's going to be more of the same old stuff. Personally, I'd love to see them take risks and innovate within the action horror framework. So, what do you think about these upcoming projects?

Are you excited or apprehensive for Evil Dead Burn and Resident Evil reboot? And who's ready for a resurgence of psychological body horror with Saccharine hitting screens soon?
