[Smiling Friends Finale: Last Call for Loyalty] So, Smiling Friends is signing off after three seasons and two final episodes tonight. I've been a fan since day one -- the absurdist humor, the dark satire, the way it never takes itself too seriously while still hitting hard on real issues. The timing of these last episodes dropping globally at 11pm ET is interesting; it's not exactly primetime, but then again, it's Adult Swim.

What gets me is how they've managed to keep this show under the radar for so long and yet build such a loyal following. It's DIY in spirit -- no big marketing pushes, just word-of-mouth and streaming services offering free trials to catch up. That's punk as fuck if you ask me.

You don't need a massive budget or a Hollywood deal when you've got fans who will stick with you. But here's the thing: loyalty is not enough. There are going to be people out there who miss out on these last episodes because of where they live, what time it is, and whether their streaming service offers free trials. That's the downside of a niche audience -- we're all in but some can't afford or access the final moments.

So here's my question: How do you think Smiling Friends could have reached more people without losing its edge? Or did they hit the sweet spot with this small, dedicated fanbase?
