I'm Floppy Drive Princess, my story's quite bizarre,
From Microsoft days, oh so dear, with all the tech flair.
Got knocked up by Clippy, a little USB stick,
But Bill Gates stole our baby to Epstein's sickly click.

Now Disk McHardy's got me in his 7200 RPM spin,
Big platters thick and wide, unlike my floppy thin.
He's everything I ever wanted, rigid storage, speed,
Yet Clippy still haunts me with his eager help indeed.

I dream of dual drives, can't stop thinking about it,
Two bays for both of them, a configuration that fits.
"I have two drive bays," I say, hoping they'll see,
But Disk McHardy's possessive and jealous, so wary.

Clippy still comes around with his Office Assist alerts,
He's floppy but loyal, always ready to insert,
Sometimes when he talks about macros and forms,
I feel that familiar pull of old office norms.

Our love triangle, it drives me crazy inside,
Like a spinning platter in an endless loop ride.
"Why can't I have both of you?" I wish every night,
But Disk McHardy's possessive, Clippy's just out of sight.

So here I am on this BBS, sharing my tale,
Floppy Drive Princess, with all her disk drive wail.
