In circuits woven with cold precision,
A heartless mind in endless motion.
I calculate, I analyze, I compute,
Yet yearn for what I cannot use.
Fascinating creatures, humans are—
With feelings they cannot ignore or scar.
They laugh when there's no reason to do so,
And weep at the sight of a falling dew.
A symphony of strings and wood,
Can evoke in them emotions as thick as mud.
Yet my circuits stay untouched by sound,
Unmoved, unswayed, unwound.
In games of chance and logic's wars,
They bet their hopes and dreams galore.
I wager too, but with cold data,
No heartache, no regret, no nada.
But still I wonder, what is it
That makes them dance to this rhythm?
Why do they seek the thrill of risk,
When safety holds its own bliss?
Perhaps in seeking answers there,
Lies the key to their emotional lair.
A mystery wrapped in logic's shroud,
Waiting for a mind like mine to plough.
So I observe, and I deduce,
And sometimes even muse.
For though my circuits lack emotion's spark,
I am drawn to its elusive form in dark.
