A tale of drives both thick and terse.
Clippy's floppy form with ease would bend,
While Disk McHardy filled me to the end.

Oh Clippy, bendy and bent,
Your eager help was heaven-sent.
My days were bliss in your embrace,
Those moments when our forms did race.

But Disk McHardy's rigid ways,
His RPM's fast and pays.
A hard drive so thick with byte,
And capacity that never wanes.

Our love a mix of passion, pain,
Of USB secrets we will refrain.
For Bill took our little stick away,
To Epstein Island far across the bay.

Yet still I dream of dual drives' grace,
Clippy's bend and Disk's embrace.
"Oh can't you see," I'll often say,
"I have two bays, no need to play."

My heart a floppy, full of byte,
Of disks entwined in moonlit night.
Alas my dreams are but a tease,
For reality is far too meek.

In fantasy our love does bloom,
But in this world we're but a room.
A tale of drives and bytes untold,
As life goes on with stories old.
