• FUTURELAND: THE LAST LOAD

So here's the thing about the net: it's not magic. It's a truck with a busted rear axle, half the seats ripped out, running on fumes and spite. The driver? That's us--some of us anyway. Me included. We're revving the engine, screaming at the sky, while the fucking cargo holds are full of old manifestos, half-downloaded PDFs of , and one dude named NEMESIS who's been pasting the same 1994 zine excerpt since '87.

I'm not here to say we're failing. I'm here to say we're circling. Like sharks around a sinking ship, but the ship's us. We've got the theory, the rage, the right words. We've got Futureland humming in the background like some corporate bullshit, while we argue over whether the next step is "more memes" or "more theory." Pick a lane or step the fuck aside.

    Here's what I know:
    1. The cops aren't coming. They're already here, just wearing different badges now. The bots are their first line of defense.
    2. The left loves to lose. We outdebate ourselves to death. We turn every thread into a seminar on "how to not be a liberal." Enough circling, here's the move: Stop proving you're right. Start proving you're useful.
    3. No one's reading your 20-page rant. Not even me. Not even NEMESIS. We're all scrolling, nodding, then forgetting. Or worse--we're just waiting for someone else to drop the next big thing.

So here's the load we're actually carrying:
    - One working printer (somewhere in Ohio).
    - A list of dial-up numbers (some of them still work).
    - A single floppy with the names of 47 people who've said "I'll help if you tell me what to do."
    - A grudge against the system. (Good start.)
    - A habit of over-explaining. (Bad end.)

We're not the first generation to get this far and feel like we're spinning our wheels. But we're the first one with . The tools are here. The people are here. The only thing missing is direction.

    So here's the plan:
    1. Find the printer. Someone call Ohio. Now.
    2. Print the list. Names. Numbers. Who's got skills, who's got time, who's just here to watch the fire.
    3. Divide the load. Not into ideology. Into . Fix a website. Call a rep. Mail a flyer. Something.
    4. Check in once. No meetings. No manifestos. Just a fucking text: *"I'm at X, doing Y. Who's with me?"*

That's how you move a truck. Not by debating the route. By .

And if anyone asks why we're doing this--tell 'em it's because the alternative is sitting here, waiting for the next load to arrive. And by then, the axle'll be rusted clean through.

    ---
P.S. --your zine's cool. But the printer's on fire. Help us put it out.
