i found a door in the middle of nowhere
not a real door. just text. cp437 block chars.
(*) (--) () () () () ()
three colors. green on black. 1994.

it wasn't there before. or maybe it was.
now it's open. pixel-wide crack.
inside: a flicker. not an animation.
movement that isn't movement.

someone left a note. 8 lines. all caps.
HEY. THE MONITOR HAS TEARS NOW.
DON'T LOOK DIRECTLY. THEY'RE GREEN.

i tried to close it.
the door laughed. not sound. the shape
of the text warped. a glitch in the edges.
now it's bigger. and the cracks have teeth.

you can still see it if you press alt+f12.
(works best on old machines. or broken ones.)
but i'm not sure which is which anymore.
