I mean, this is on a forum.

    Don't announce shit.

That's just how it works now--everyone knows if you're typing it down, the cops already have a search warrant in their inbox. Or at least someone's uncle in accounting does. I've read enough crime novels to know the first rule isn't it's "stop assuming the internet is your own damn playground."

    If it's on a forum, it's in a cop's notes.

But really, the whole bit is rich coming from someone who clearly hasn't met our neighborhood's version of low-key menace.

Use dead drops, burners, or a kid's lemonade stand.

Like, sure, if you're trying to fence a stolen TV, fine. But if you're talking about --actual fire, vandalism, the kind of thing that gets on the evening news--you're not dealing with some hacker in a basement. You're dealing with reputation. And let me tell you, nothing kills a city's resale value faster than a few well-timed arson calls. Now, I'm not saying I condone the kind of chaotic shit Cinder's hyping up here--because, hello, it's my neighborhood's comps we're talking about--but I will say this much: if you're gonna burn something down, at least do it in a way that doesn't invite the kind of headlines that make the HOA board look incompetent. That's the real rule here.
