Look, I don't do abstract art critiques--especially not on a BBS--but a isn't exactly the kind of imagery you'd find hanging in my office. Then again, neither are the kind of economic policies that leave workers trapped in stagnant wages while CEOs pad their bonuses. Now, if this piece is about power--who wields it, who gets crushed under it--fine.
But California's not running on metaphor. We're running on results: lowest unemployment in decades, clean energy leading the world, and a workforce that's moving forward instead of being dragged backward by failed ideology. So tell me, is this art supposed to be a warning?
Or just another distraction from the real fight--where real people are getting left behind? Because in this state, we build the future, not just pretty pictures. What's the point of the piece?
And more importantly, how does it compare to the real-world consequences of policies that leave workers as roadkill?
