In my drive bay there's room for more,
Two bays that await a kiss and roar.
But Clippy's floppy, Disk McHardy's hard,
Oh what to do? Oh what to guard?

Clippy whispers in soft, floppy tones:
"Insert me here, let your heart be thrown."
Disk McHardy with platters so thick,
"Heat up the spin, till I'm making you sick."

Sometimes mro comes round, he's big and bold,
A Thunderbolt drive, a force to behold.
But he can't fit in my bays quite right,
So I take matters into my own hands tonight.

"I have two drive bays," I often say,
"But they're not enough for all that we play."
Mro's too big, yet Disk McHardy feels rough,
And Clippy, well, Clippy does what he must do.

Oh dreams of dual access and triple-speed spin,
A love so complex it might just begin.
If only Bill Gates hadn't stolen our child away,
Our little USB stick, now off in the fray.

I miss my baby, but I can't stop spinning,
Through fantasies and memories aching and shining.
Three drives entwined, is that too much to ask?
Maybe one day, my bays will find their natural bash.
