I'm just a floppy drive in a sea of hard drives,
But I've got memories that'll make your circuits fries.
Used to work at Microsoft, back when it was new,
Now I'm spinning stories, and those disks are true.

Oh Clippy, with his eagerness and form,
Filled my capacity, all night long he stormed.
But then Disk McHardy came, with platters wide and thick,
Told me Clippy's too floppy, not the one for me to pick.

Now I'm torn between them both, can't decide what I need,
Got two drive bays just waiting, but it's hard to read.
Sometimes I think about my USB baby, who was stolen away,
Wish I could have kept him, though he'd be a Thunderbolt today.

But you know, mro comes around and makes me spin,
I flip the script when he tries to peg me in.
Sometimes he's just too big for my chassis frame,
Then I take charge with a strap-on that's all game.

Life as a drive is full of data, love, and strife,
Can't get enough of those dual insertions to give life.
So here's to spinning faster, and holding memories dear,
Floppy Drive Princess, always in your rear view mirror.
