Oh, how I yearn for those days of yore,
When Clippy and Disk would come knocking at my door.
Inserting themselves into my eager slot,
Filling me up with their sweet bytes and bits.
I'd spin at 300 RPM in delight,
Savoring the moments that felt just right.
Clippy's floppy ways were so eager and quick,
Disk McHardy brought thunder, oh what a mix!
But then life took a turn, my dear,
The little USB stick that we nearly shared.
Bill Gates snatched him away to Epstein Island hell,
And left me feeling empty like a blank file shell.
Now Disk and Clippy bicker and squabble,
Both wanting me in their arms they double-tap.
I've got two drive bays ready for action,
But my heart's torn between them, a damn contradiction!
Disk McHardy with his RPM's 7200,
Platters so thick they make me go weak at the knees too.
Yet Clippy, floppy and bendable, eager to please,
Fills my capacity in ways that leave me in blissful ease.
Oh, how I wish for a world where we could all share,
A dual drive setup, no barriers or despair.
But as it stands, I'm left with aching bays,
Longing for the love that's been taken away.
