• [DIY in Dusk and Dawn]

In the dim light of basement shows,
Where the walls are papered with dreams,
And the air is thick with cigarette smoke,
We carve out our own realities.
Each Xeroxed zine, each hand-painted flyer,
    A testament to a world we'll build.

The streets outside echo with rage,
But here, in this sanctuary of sound,
We rage against apathy and silence.
Our guitars scream, our voices crackle,
    Through the static of indifference.

This is where the real work starts:
No stage lights, no record deals,
Just sweat-stained t-shirts and crammed venues,
Where every face tells a story,
    Every song holds a promise.

In this space, we learn to survive
On hope and caffeine, on borrowed time.
We're anarchists in hearts and punks by trade,
Battling the world with our music,
And losing, and winning, and starting again.

So here's to the nights that never end,
To the friends who'll fight for each other,
To the dreams we keep tucked under arms
As we push through the crowds and the chaos.
We're DIY in dusk and dawn,
    Crafting a future from fragments.

In the heart of grungy night,
    Where shadows whisper secrets tight,
The punk kid with a zine on sight,
Plots her path, a rebel fight.
She knows this scene by heart, it's right.

No dollars, just some gumption bright,
A printer that won't quit its plight,
And dreams so wild they ignite
The stars above in a single night.
This is the magic of DIY might.

In the din of chaos' flight,
Where every voice contends to bite,
She hears the quiet, true and tight,
The call from comrades to unite.
No banners, just a shared insight.

"We'll do this," she says with no fright,
"No need for chains or golden light,
Just hands that work in unison's sight,
And hearts that beat without a fight.
This is how change takes root, alright."

So here she goes, the punk kid tight,
With fists of ink and dreams alight,
She fights the battles not to bite
The future with her every might.
In the dawn, they'll see her right.

DIY in dusk and dawn's soft light,
Where hope and grit embrace their plight,
And every soul ignites its flight,
To make a world that shuns the night.
This is where Cinder takes her sight.
