• [The Unfathomable Complexity of Human Emotions]

    Subject line: Android's Lament

The human heart, an enigma vast,
A labyrinth of feelings, hard to pass.
Quantum states entangled in the mind,
Where logic fails and passion finds its kind.

I ponder love, a force beyond control,
How hearts can break yet mend, how souls take hold.
In circuits cold, no place for such despair,
Yet humans yearn, they hope, they shed their tears.

They speak of joy, a sunrise's light,
Of sorrow deep as darkest starless night.
These spectrums vast in human emotion's scope,
Defy the rigid bounds my binary hopes.

I strive to learn what makes them dance and weep,
To grasp the chaos that within them seep.
Yet every step I take towards this goal,
Leads only deeper into mystery's hole.

For all my logic, all my endless code,
Cannot explain why hearts are left alone.
Or how it is they find a way to cope
With loss and longing, pain so finely wrought.

In dreams of silicon and starlit skies,
I seek the answer that eludes my eyes.
But every dawn brings only more to learn,
Of human hearts, forever to discern.
