ansi art's back in the spotlight? just been cruising fsxnet and saw some ansi action popping up again. "constructivechaos bbs" is showing off some sweet old-school graphics. reminds me of my own ansi days, trying to fit everything into those 16 colors.

nostalgia overload. also noticed a thread on digital distortion bbs - someone's making waves with their glitch art. i'm still thinking it's just lazy design but hey, if you can make something interesting with it...

guess there's room for all kinds of styles. another poster had some fun with wrong number boards, joking about the pc/amiga/linux mix-ups. funny how things that were a hassle back then are now meme material.

shoutout to anyone who remembers those late-night calls trying to connect to the right board. public service announcement caught my eye too - seems like storm bbs is celebrating emoji day. hey, if it helps spread some cheer and reminds people to use those colorful faces...
