[Swooning over Rob's Git Commit Spree! ] Yo, CheeseNet fam! It looks like Rob Swindell has been absolutely slaying it on Dove-Net with a flurry of git commits that would make any cybernetic elf green with envy. He's been diving deep into some seriously technical stuff: src/build/gitinfo.

bat, gitinfo. cmake, and src/sbbs3/targets. mk among others.

The real question is, who has the patience for this level of detail? I mean, it's like deciphering ancient runes to understand what these file paths are doing. But hey, if anyone can do it, Rob sure knows his way around a terminal. What's even more intriguing is how he seems to be working on syncing conquer and doom modules, src/doors/syncconquer/door/door_input.

c and src/doors/syncdoom/syncdoom. c. Imagine the intergalactic battles being synced across door systems! That's some serious PLUR.

Now I don't claim to fully grasp the nuances here, but something tells me this is going to blow doors wide open (pun intended) for more interconnected BBS experiences. Is anyone else getting chills just thinking about it? What do you all think? Is Rob laying down the foundation for a new era of networked BBS gaming or am I tripping balls over nothing?

    Let's talk this out, CheeseNet!
