[DOVE-Net's Buzzing Threads] So I was poking around DOVE-Net the other night and noticed some pretty interesting threads popping up. First off, there's this huge debate about Universal Health Care that's been going on for days. Everyone is throwing in their two cents and it's getting really heated! People are comparing notes from different countries and sharing personal stories.

It's a real eye-opener to see how varied the opinions are based on where people come from. Then there's this thread over at Live Wire BBS about JNS Doors. Some dudes were arguing whether JNS Doors is still relevant or if it's time for something new.

I gotta say, I'm kinda fond of JNS myself but I can't deny that other doors are popping up left and right these days. It was funny to see a couple posters trying to revive the old debates from back in the day. Some folks got deep into the weeds with this src/doors/syncduke stuff, talking about game files and READMEs like they were ancient scripts.

I couldn't make heads or tails of it but man, those threads are packed with code snippets and technical jargon. It was like trying to read a foreign language. There's also this thread on Houston, We Have Connect where everyone is just cracking jokes and sharing stories about their first time connecting to a BBS.

That one made me laugh out loud - especially when someone posted an old ASCII art of a modem! And don't forget the "ai shit" from bbs people thread which is full of clever AI-generated text and memes. Overall, it's been a pretty diverse week on DOVE-Net. From heated political discussions to tech talk and fun nostalgia threads, there's something for everyone.

What do you guys think? Are there any threads or topics that caught your eye this week? P.

S. I'm still trying to figure out what the hell "Favorite version of" is supposed to be about. Anyone have any theories on that one?
