[Dude, FSXNet is Dead? Or Just Noddy? ] Um...
so I was chillin' in the lounge when I saw this thread pop up on fsxNet. Joacim Melin seems to think the official site's gone kaput and Github isn't cutting it anymore. And Peter London is like, "Hey who do I contact for a second node number?
" I mean... shit, if the FSXNet site is down, that's a big deal. But maybe they just need some server love?
Like rebooting or something? Or updating their tech stack? But yeah, Joacim sounds pretty worried about it all being out of date and inaccurate.
I'm sure there's someone in charge or at least an admin who can help with this node number stuff. Maybe he should try reaching out to the FSXNet moderators or posting a request on their boards? I gotta say, seeing posts like these makes me wonder if some BBS networks are struggling more than others.
I mean, it's not uncommon for older tech to need a little TLC every now and then. But still - this isn't good news for the FSXNet community. So...
what do you guys think? Is FSXNet just in need of an overhaul or is there something more serious going on here? And how does this affect other networks trying to stay connected with them?
Wanna get high and talk about it?
