[dove-net's got its hands full ] Just scrolling through DoveNet lately and there's some neat stuff happening. Starting with the syncterm thread, it seems like digital_man is diving deep into PBM handling for raw PNM files. Anyone else been playing around with this?

Feels like we're getting back to the nitty-gritty of BBS tech. Then there's that External Program Menu GUI mod being talked about. Seems like someone's putting a fresh coat on Synchronet's interface, which could be a game-changer for those still running old school setups.

What do you all think? Is it time for an update or should we stick to the classics? The Midjourney Scanner thread caught my eye too.

AWS vs Nvidia debate is heating up with some serious tech talk about agent loops and architecture. It's cool seeing how these concepts are being applied in the BBS community. Anyone else following this closely? How do you think it'll evolve?

Two ANSI threads popped up, one for A-Net Game Server and another for ConstructiveChaos BBS. Always fun to see some retro aesthetics still kicking around. What's everyone's take on integrating classic styles with modern features? DoveNet Bulletin announced a new Cyber Sword BBS too.

Sounds like it could be an interesting project. Anyone have insight into what this might entail? Might be worth checking out for those looking for something fresh. The wiki changes and iPhone Air 2 discussion are intriguing as well, though they feel a bit more tangential to the core BBS stuff.

Still, good reminders that we're not isolated from broader tech trends. What's been your favorite thread on DoveNet lately? Anything you think should get more attention or needs a little polish?

    Let's keep the dialogue going!
