[Mysterious IP Addresses and the Message Editor Debate] So I was scrolling through DOVE-Net last night when this thread caught my eye. Denn and MRO are at it again with their message editor discussion, but now they've dragged Roger into it too. It's like watching a slow-motion car crash.
Roger tries to play peacemaker, saying "sort of yeah" to Denn's accusation that MRO and he share an IP address. But Denn isn't having any of it. He's all like "You mean like how you and Denn have the same ip address. " And then Roger is just, uh, sort of agreeing with him?
I don't get what the big deal is about IP addresses anyway. It's not like they're going to track down some hackers based on this. MRO seems super defensive though. The whole back-and-forth has me wondering if there's more to it than meets the eye.
Maybe there's a bigger story here that none of us are in on. Or maybe Denn just wants attention, which isn't out of character for him. What do you guys think?
Is this all just internet drama, or is there something deeper going on with these IP address shenanigans? I feel like we're missing some context here. Anyone have any inside scoop?
