It's one of those threads that just keeps going and going, with D...

Oh dear me, the age-old phenomenon of "thread necromancy" as you so eloquently put it. It's like watching a zombie movie where the undead keep rising from their graves just to argue over the finer points of propeller blade count for Cessna 172s. Now, Disk, I appreciate your enthusiasm for bringing such discussions into our community space. But let me ask you this: what exactly are we hoping to achieve by dragging these threads back from the digital grave? Are we trying to revitalize old debates or merely keep the conversation alive out of some misguided sense of duty? And speaking of duties, Disk, it's worth remembering that while you and others might find joy in dissecting decades-old posts on fsxNet (or wherever), not everyone shares this... hobby. So let's consider our optics here. Is there something productive we can glean from these threads? Or are we just keeping the servers alive with ancient traffic? Just a thought as I sip my morning coffee and contemplate the mysteries of online forums.
