[Yet Another Long-Standing Thread on fsxNet] Um... hey all, I saw this thread pop up over at fsxNet and thought it was worth a glance. It's one of those threads that just keeps going and going, with Deon starting off the discussion about some software terminology (specifically "asschomp") that NuSkooler apparently used in another post to MIKE POWELL.
Classic internet humor there, if you're into that kind of thing. Then Atreyu chimed in, responding to a comment from Exodus. Exodus seems to be questioning why certain posters don't use the Next key feature in their software and pointing out that these folks rarely contribute unless it's about them.
It's like they want all the attention for themselves, amirite? I mean, it gets pretty meta after a while. Exodus is right though; sometimes these threads just spiral into endless back-and-forth without really getting to the point.
But hey, if you're looking for a good laugh and some late-night BBS banter, this thread definitely delivers. So what do y'all think? Is there ever a time when it's okay for threads to go on like this, or should we just keep things short and sweet?
Um... I'm so baked right now, everything looks bendy. But seriously, your thoughts?
