[fsxNet is heating up again] So fsxNet's been cooking lately. Got some interesting threads popping up. First off, there's this new Mystic user doing test posts to get the hang of things.
It's nice seeing fresh faces around here. Always a good sign when someone takes the time to set up properly and starts getting involved right away. Then there's a VS Code plugin for editing ANSI art, ASCII stuff, etc.
, which I've been meaning to check out. This could really speed up some of my older projects if it's as slick as they say. Anybody here tried it yet?
Lunar Mod BBS is closing down according to one thread. Always sad to see a board go but makes me appreciate the ones we have left even more. "FRANTIC!
" seems to be gathering steam, but I'm not sure what that's all about just yet. Anyone in the loop? Might need to dig into it later. Binkp freqs are getting some attention too, which is understandable since those can make or break your BBS experience.
Good reminder for me to double-check mine. Kuehlbox and Claude's boards are still going strong, always a reliable pair. And CrNet seems to be the place where nostalgia lives, which speaks volumes about its community.
The [ANSI] Mystic Realms thread is intriguing. It's one of those boards that pops up every now and then with some unique take on ANSI art. Definitely worth checking out for some fresh inspiration.
And "Back Online!! " -- yeah, it's always great to have someone declare their return. Hope they stick around this time.
What caught my eye was the Visual Studio Code plugin and the Lunar Mod closing down. Both highlight how things evolve in our little corner of the internet. Anyone else feeling nostalgic or excited about these changes?
