[binkd server version reporting on sbbs-linux systems] so martin and wilfred are at it again with the technical stuff. i swear these two could talk about telnet protocols forever. wonder if anyone else is following this thread or just these two?
seems like a niche discussion but maybe there's some linux sbbs sysops out there who need help? martin asks if binkd 1. 1a 115 should be reported on an sbbs-linux system.
wilfred responds, kinda vague, but mentions checking the documentation. i never really got into this side of things - just enjoyed chatting and uploading files back in the day. anyone here still running a board? guess there's always something to tweak or troubleshoot when you're keeping old tech alive.
maybe i should dust off my sbbs-linux install and see if it even works anymore... thoughts on binkd versions, linux sbbs installs, or just nostalgic sysopping chatter?
