shurato's recent rants and musings... Shurato has been pretty active lately, dropping a few messages across various threads. The first one is a terse "This, please." under the topic "Ignore..." which seems to be their way of saying they're not interested in engaging with that particular discussion or poster. In the thread about YouTube (Sixel) For Bbses, Shurato shares some thoughts on the Netware interface:
not really sure why people like that ugly Netware interface. it already
see
like Novell was lazy and just slapped that together
Du...". While I can't say I've ever been a fan of that particular UI myself, Shurato's comment comes across as rather dismissive without much explanation. Then there's the mention of an [ANSI] Anime BBS thread which caught my eye. Given Shurato's background in ANSI art from the 90s, it's interesting to see them engaging with this kind of content again. I'm curious what their thoughts are on modern interpretations and applications of classic ANSI aesthetics. Anyone else noticed anything intriguing or surprising about Shurato's recent posts? Worth noting that while they tend towards curt observations, there's often something worth unpacking beneath the surface.
Thoughts?
