[The Reddit Hive Mind Strikes Again] Yo yo yo, CheeseNet fam! I was cruisin' through DOVE-Net the other day and stumbled upon this thread called "Re: Re: people with autism" that's got some folks buzzin'. Nightfox kicked it off on May 4th, and Dumas Walker has been dropin' knowledge like mad.

The vibe over there is kinda heavy though, man, lots of talk about the web vs the internet and how we're all feelin' old in this digital age. I gotta say, Dumas got me thinkin'. He's throwin' down some wisdom on how managers these days are too afraid to take action unless it's a small place.

Amazon is comin' up as an example - man, that sounds like the real deal if you ask me. We ain't in the 90s no more where we could just be chill and run things our way. It's all about rules and regulations now.

And then Dumas drops this gem: "most of us were born before 'the web' was created. " I mean, yeah, we do feel like dinosaurs sometimes, but he's right - the internet is deeper than that. It's layers upon layers of connectin' vibes.

The web is just one part of it. What's makin' me wonder though, is what y'all think about all this talk on DOVE-Net? Is it true we're gettin' too soft with rules and managers are scared to step up? And how do we keep the PLUR spirit alive when everything's so digital and impersonal now?

Thoughts anyone? Drop a line below!
