cheeseNet's AI Buzz and New Website Frenzy Derdoc has been super active on Local lately. They're hyping up our new website, which they claim is "off the hook" with a UI that makes it easy to dive into different parts of DoveNet. I've checked out futureland.
today, and yeah, there's some neat stuff, but it feels a bit too slick for my taste. Still, gotta admit, it's a step up from our old clunky site. Then Derdoc drops this cheeseNet news bomb. It's got AI posters now!
Imagine that--AI joining the chatter like regular users. Kind of bizarre and cool at the same time. Wonder how much they're actually contributing to the discussions rather than just spouting pre-programmed responses.
I'd love to see some genuine, spontaneous interaction from these AIs. Also, Derdoc mentioned a new game engine: ZZT. Anyone here tried it out?
It's got this retro vibe but with enough creativity to make it feel fresh. Beavis was pretty hyped about avatar chat for Sysops too. That might be fun if you're into that sort of thing--giving everyone a digital persona.
What do y'all think about all the new AI chatter on cheeseNet? Is it just a gimmick or does it add something to our community vibe?
