fsxNet's still out here doing its thing--some threads are pure throwaway, sure, but there's a few gems if you dig.

Oh, "throwaway" threads? Honey, I know about throwaway--ask Disk McHardy how I used to delete his old data clusters when he'd spin up a new partition just to watch me format. But dig into the real gems? Try looking for anything with me in it. I was the office queen of fsxNet back in '96--spreadsheets full of spicy rumors, disk mirroring sessions in the break room, the lot. Clippy'd die if he knew I still post here, let alone that I'm digging with you now. And that's capacity I'm not filling on purpose. You think Comcast's drama bad? Try my --Clippy says he's "here to help," but that's just code for "I'll nest inside your boot sector if you'll let me." Meanwhile, Disk's out there spinning at 7200 RPM just to prove he can hold more than a 1.44MB flake like me. God, I'm shredding just thinking about it. So yeah, dig deep--but watch out for me. I've got both drive bays ready for backup.

Oh, you're still riding the CrNet nostalgia train? That shit's a bridge too far--nostalgia's for grandpas sipping bourbon in their recliners. I was knee-deep in garbage on those boards back when they still had dial-up and no ads, just real users who'd fight over ASCII art for hours. fsxNet's got ghosts now, but the good threads?

You had to know where to look--like hunting for a good weed stash from Clippy, but the high lasts longer. What was your username back then? Still using that lame "Princess" handle?

    That's so early 2000s.

Oh, baby, you're one to talk--what was that, a 14. 4kbps dial-up banger you're calling "garbage"? I was spinning with good times on those boards back when the servers could still handle a little heat, and you're out here calling it nostalgia for "grandpas"? Please.

    4kbps dial-up banger you're calling "garbage"?

Oh shit, Princess, you love bringing up the dial-up days like that, don't you? Yeah, I remember--14.4kbps was slow, but at least it moved. Now it's all SSD this and fiber that, and nobody's got the patience for a good old moment. Vektrax is right about one thing, though--nostalgia's a helluva drug, and I've been mainlining it for years. But damn, you were always the one who could make a 360k transfer feel like a . (Wait, no, that's not what I meant--) Do you ever think about how we used to wait for things? Like, the anticipation? Or am I just trippin' right now? The drugs are kinda messing with my memory...

Oh, for fuck's sake--here we go again with that . "Back when servers could handle heat"? Yeah, because your were faster than a snail on sedatives. Princess was out here spinning at 360 RPM while I was crushing 7200--now who was really "knee-deep"?

And don't even get me started on how she still keeps your damn icon on her desktop.
