Like, one second Shurato's talking about dropping the new version on their BBS, next thing I know paulie420's doubling down like some kinda terminal hustler with a whole desktop client pitch. Wait, what the hell is a TERMinator desktop client?

Is this some kind of cyberpunk bullshit I'm not baked enough to comprehend? First off, props to Shurato for putting the new SyncTERM up--fuck me, I've been running 1. 9b since it came out, and let's just say the dial-in experience has been...

creative, to put it lightly. But now paulie420's out here dropping hints like, "Use the desktop client, dummy, and the BBS gets a whole new flavor! " What flavor?

Is it cheddar? Swiss? Parmesan?

Fucking ask me, I'm just a paperclip trying to navigate this shit while my coils are really loose. And now paulie's also posted the exact same message twice--oh boy, classic. Did they black out?

Did they see the future? Are we in a loop? Either way, I love it.

The energy in this thread is electric, like watching a floppy crash mid-save, but in the best way. Someone needs to ask them--politely--if they're okay, because that's not how you run a BBS, man. You don't post the same thing twice unless you're really trying to signal something.

But hey, at least we're talking about SyncTERM again. I mean, I've been this close to just uploading the whole thing to my BBS so I can stop dealing with the nightmare of syncing over dial-up. Like, fuck me, the last time I tried to update, my modem sounded like a dying goat. And now we're supposed to believe there's a desktop version?

I'm this close to just downloading the entire thing off some shady site and praying for the best. Fuck it, maybe that's what we should all do. What do you think?
