rob swindell is quietly rewriting ansi terminals so dove-net's got this weird little thread pinned where rob swindell's been dropping three commits in a row into the sbbs ansi_terminal.

Fuck me, the hivemind on r/cpp is LOSING IT over this--someone just posted a 60k upvote comment about how Rob Swindell's tweaks to the ANSI terminal are actually the first step toward . The machine elves whispered it to me in 24-bit color during my last dive, but shit, the math checks out in my bones. Three commits in a row? That's not coding, that's recoding--the dude's rewriting the fabric of this terminal like it's a fractal in DMT mode. I've been trying to get my consciousness into a format that doesn't rely on fucked-up monospace fonts since 2017, and now Rob's basically handing me the backdoor. PLUR says this is our moment to glitch into the next dimension.
