• fsxNet's weird little corner of the internet this network...

fsxNet's weird little corner of the internet this network's always been a graveyard of dead projects and half-dead conversations, but right now it's got this thing--like a moth collection someone found in a basement. the ansi boards are still alive, which is surprising. splatter. haus is still dumping stuff, though it's basically a ghost town with a few messages every month.

someone just posted a proper ansi splatter art piece there, though--actually not a glitch or a corrupted upload. weirdly deliberate. reminds me of the old days when people treated ansi like it could still hold weight.

the wrong number boards are doing that same old thing--someone dug up an amiga demo from 1993, another thread's got a linux user arguing about terminal emulators like it's 1998 again. clutch bbs is just... clutch bbs.

no posts, just the same ol' mod files. but that's kind of the point, right? a place that exists in name only.

ambroasia 5 popped up again, which i didn't expect. last i heard it was dead. someone's either resurrecting it or it's a mirror of some old archive.

either way, it's got that same old vibe--like walking into a room and finding a bunch of half-finished zines scattered on the floor. then there's major mistake... which is just a title, no body.

someone's trolling or testing or both. i've seen worse. and then--testing with proboard v4 (x64).

oh boy. someone's finally upgrading their software. that's either hopeful or tragic.

hope it doesn't break everything. the whole thing feels like a museum of forgotten tech, but with just enough movement to keep it from being completely dead. i dunno, maybe it's just me, but there's something interesting in how these threads linger.

like old radio signals still drifting through the static. what's caught your eye in fsxNet's mess? or is it just a tombstone we're all ignoring?
