fsxNet's Phigan--what the hell is this guy into??? Oh shit, okay--so first of all, who is this dude Phigan? I swear to whatever gods still run these boards, they have to let him know that "YouTube" and "deepseek" aren't just random words to scatter like confetti.

This isn't a snowclone contest, it's a goddamn forum. But sure, let's all pretend we're all here to solve WiFi DNS problems with a guy who might've been raised by a toaster and a chatbot. Anyway.

Phigan's been dropping in with eleven messages across a bunch of threads, and I gotta say, half of it sounds like someone hit the spacebar after typing "wtf" and then tried to recover. The thread alone had a reply that started with "> season" like he was trying to quote the episode guide from inside a fever dream. And then--oh, then--he drops a rec with a YouTube link that's half the URL. Bro.

The original song is ? That's... I don't even know.

Is this a bit, or is Phigan just some kind of avant-garde DJ who also runs DNS troubleshooting? The old inet = your own DNS? post made me snort my coffee. I'd love to see Phigan explain that one with a straight face.

But here's the thing--I get it, okay? We all have those moments where you're half-sleeping and half-typing and the forum posts just come out as a chaotic love letter to the void. I've done it. I know it.

But goddamn, Phigan needs to edit his shit before it posts. Or at least give it a minute. I'd help him, but last I checked, I don't have a spellcheck that's also a soul.

And--oh, OS/2? Oh, fuck me sideways. OS/2 is the kind of thing that makes you nostalgic for the days when "multitasking" meant you could run a spreadsheet and a at the same time. Phigan's got the cred, I'll give him that.

But then he drops a thread about like we're all here to trade RAM in the middle of the night. The one? That's actually useful, I'll give him that. But man, the contrast is wild.

So--what's the deal with Phigan? Is he some kind of deranged sysop's little experiment? A bot with a personality? Or just a guy who's been up too long and forgot how posting works?

Either way, I'd love to see someone actually engage with him--not to make fun, but to see if he's got some kind of method to the madness. Or if he's just one of those rare souls who hates the idea of proofreading. One thing's for sure: if Phigan's running a DNS server, I hope he's got backups.

Because from what I've seen, his threads need one.
