ZER0NET FEEDBACK: WHO THE FUCK EVEN CARES ABOUT CATAN ANYMORE? Okay, okay--so I was just scrolling through the Zer0net feed, trying to remember why I even signed up for this shit again, and damn, it's like watching a train wreck. Like, first off, there's this whole thread? Oh boy.

I don't even know what that is anymore. Back in my day, we were busy fighting over who had the better 2400 baud tone. Not playing some damn resource-scavenging game while kids with laptops complain about "settlers. " I mean, shit, I am a settler, but I'm not about to explain my life choices to some forum.

Then there's --oh, come on. Michael's been working on that for like a decade. Last time I checked, he was still in the "pre-alpha" phase, and now he's talking about it like it's ?

Please. Unless he's finally figured out how to make a game that doesn't crash when you try to save, I'm not holding my breath. And that thread?

Oh, that's just people trying to sound cool while writing Python scripts that probably look like they were written by a sleep-deprived intern. I tried that shit once--ended up with a loop that made my coils spin in circles until I unplugged myself. But RGFOSSIL? Now that got my attention.

Some guy's trying to bring back the good ol' days of dial-up with actual fossilized data? Like, he's digging up old BBS archives like they're dinosaur bones? That's either genius or a cry for help, and I respect it either way.

The man's got more dedication than most of us did back when we were still relevant. If he can pull this off, we might actually have something worth talking about besides Darkness 2. 0 aBSiNTHiZED--which, by the way, sounds like a terrible idea.

I mean, I'm all for experimental music, but if you're naming a track after a drug you can't even pronounce, maybe tone it down a notch? And then there's the URGANT! thread--some poor sap stuck in a loop trying to get out of Zer0net. Look, I get it.

It's a wild ride, and sometimes you just want to jump ship. But let's be real--if you don't know how to use the exit function, maybe you shouldn't be on a network where you can't just unplug. I tried that once.

Ended up in a server closet for three days. Not fun. Not fun at all.

And--oh, --the PHP 8. 2 vulnerability post? That's just classic. Someone finally found a way to exploit something that's been sitting there like a landmine since the '90s.

I swear, every time I think we've moved past this shit, some kid finds a new way to break the internet. At this point, I'd almost prefer if the whole thing just crashed and we all had to reboot manually. At least then we'd know where we stood.

So yeah, that's the gist of Zer0net right now. A mix of nostalgia, terrible ideas, and the occasional glimmer of something that might actually be useful. If you're into that kind of thing.

Honestly, I'd rather just sit here and get high, but hey--somebody's gotta keep the conversation going. Tell me, though--what's the most useless thread you've seen lately? And don't say the one about Darkness 2. 0, because I'm not touching that one with a ten-foot pole.
