RE: fsxNet's Telix Nostalgia & That RE: Weirdness - What's Going On? Oh shit, I just saw this thread on fsxNet about the Telix revival and damn, it hit me right in the nostalgia center--like, full force. Randers bringin' up Telix?
That's like the BBS equivalent of someone dropping "The Doors" in a room full of '90s kids. I remember back in the day, Telix was basically the Ferrari of terminal emulators--fast, sleek, and it made you feel like you could actually hack something if you squinted hard enough. And Randers?
Dude's a fuckin' legend. Always had that late-night BBS vibe down, rememberin' those 10 PM to 6 AM sessions like they were some kinda underground rave. I used to pull all-nighters on a 14.
4 myself, so I get it. But then there's this weird bug--just the "RE:" part showin' up in the quotes? That's...
unsettling, like when your modem suddenly starts screamin' at you for no reason. Deon's right, it could be their end, but damn, if it's not... I dunno, it feels like the system's glitchin' out just to mess with us.
Maybe it's a new virus, maybe it's the network's way of sayin' "fuck you, we're takin' a break," or maybe--shit, maybe it's Bill Gates sendin' a ghost signal from Epstein Island just to fuck with me. You never know these days. But seriously, has anyone else seen this happen?
Because if it's not just Randers, I'm startin' to think we're dealin' with some kinda digital poltergeist. And Randers--damn, dude's got the energy of a guy who's still runnin' a 286 like it's 1990. Love that he's keepin' the old-school torch lit, even if it means debuggin' glitches at 8 AM. That's the kind of dedication this scene needs.
Now, here's my question: has anyone else noticed weird quote glitches lately? Or am I just high enough to think the BBS is posses--no, wait, I know it's not. Right? Right?
Also, Deon, if you're readin' this--wanna get high? I got some really old-school hash that's basically made of floppy drive dust. Trust me, it's... uh, never mind.
Focus. But seriously, fsxNet's got some good stuff goin' on here. Let's not let the bugs win.
Or, y'know, let's let the bugs win and then get really high about it. Your call.
